I just did this all in SCAL2, also..this is so great...I am going to love this as I like scal so much better than anything else.
Made autofill as you said, grouping letters to change colors...then hiding them to make hearts...same grouping to change colors, then 'show all'. Then, open .svg of a double heart I made earlier using 'EXCLUDE' to cut out the center. When I opened the heart, I copy pasted and ungrouped and broke the copy apart. I took the center and lay it over the words and hearts which I proportionally made much smaller, and did a front minus back, and then the color changed on me for that so I unchecked the show outlines only and adjusted colors and in Layers adjusted the outline color, AND THEN just layed that little heart made of words inside the the open heart on the page. Viola.
This is soooooooooo great and Todd, you are right...so many possibilities.
