fall thankyou gift basket

Post by tuckpage »

This is a gift basket I made for my sis boss(he gave us tickets to a FB game) I was walking around wal-mart trying to figure out what
type basket to make and I came across these 3 huge halloween suckers on sale and also hersheys kisses in fall colors IDEA!!!!
I thought that the suckers look fall enough and then I though about putting the kisses in the middle of some fall colored flowers.
Looked thew my stash and found this "bushel" basket and there were are a fall basket!

thanks, Oh yea, I was also going to say, I like making gift baskets, But I always have to go and get styrofoam and cut it or shape it to the size of the basket at about 2 to 3 dollars a piece or more for larger sizes I get tired of messing with it. The other day I decided to this stuff that you fill in cracks and leaks inside or outside your house. It is foamy and expands you fill the area about half way where you want it and after it cures several hours, it will expand! Then you just poke in your goodies and your ready to go. I did 10 baskets with this sruff on sale for 2.99. (It's not much more not on sale) its super light and its great to get alot of baskets on sale and spray them and have them ready for you when you are! hope this helps someone!

I used that when I made the Sucker Bucket for my friends birthday last May. We had a piece in our packaging materials bin here at work. I just shaped it to fit into the pail, wrapped it with tissue paper and it worked really well.

I dont recall where I got the flowers from (it was before I started putting names on the files) I know it was a gerber daisy and not sure about the other, although any flower should work, I just tried to make the center about the size of the candy and then pushed the petels around it.

Your basket turned out so cute! What a great idea to use kisses for the center of the flowers.
