Copy and Paste in SCAL 2.010

Post by Tandi »

I installed the new update SCAL 2.010 today. Love the many changes but where did the right click menu, copy and paste go to?? Or am I missing something.

Hmmm.. It seems you have to hit on the bezier pen first and then you can cut and paste your image...

After spending more time with SCAL 2.010, I found the copy and paste menu when still using the Selection Tool...
If your cursor is directly on the selected object when you right click, you get the following menu: Transform, Arrange, Break Apart, etc.
If your cursor is directly on the mat away from your selected object when you right click, you get the following menu: Cut, Copy, Paste, Paste in Place, etc.

Thanks Tandi I was wondering what the trick was. Sometimes it works  for me and sometimes it doesn't.

But if you do like I stated as well you can hit directly on the image...

You are right, the bezier pen does work very well but I haven't had a chance to work with it very much and the pen does intimidate me a bit.
I guess I'm a creature of habit, so I was looking for something that works with the Selection tool.

Finally figured out what the beizer pen was! And it works much better. Thanks!
