Glass Etching Question
I want to put a last name on the bottom of a casserole dish so when you look from the top into the dish you see the name correctly. How do I do this? Do I put my vinyl in upside down so that when I stick it to the glass it is correct...or is there another way??? Thanks for the help!

Re: Glass Etching Question
If you are etching from the underside of the dish, then I would think you should flip the image? I am brand-new to this, but I've been messing around with etching. If you are etching from inside the dish, then you shouldn't have to do anything. I bet it'll come out really nice.

OK- this is my take on it- I think you would have to reverse the order of the letters and the letters themselves. I did it in inkscape. here is what I see if you wan to cut it with vinyl and stick it to the bottom and weed out what isn't needed....
Hope this helps-

Thanks! I wish we had a mirror image on SCAL, but I can make it work this way so it is okay. Maybe when I learn Inkscape can do it in that program and bring it over.

If I have the font you want I could do it for you quickly in Inkscape. Let me know- no problem!
