Shark Pop-up and a challenge

Post by Craigg64 »

Hi People

When I saw people referring to this sight http://www.robertsabuda.com/popmake/index.asp I thought I would have a go and convert a design to SVG.

I decided on a male type card and chose a shark.
I was happy how it cut out and I also created perforations to make folding easy (took a little while to cut out)
My design is a little different, I have made slots for the tab fit into. That way they will be hidden when the card is opened.

My wife liked what I did but has no idea how she could use it in a card.
So the challenge if anyone is up for it is to design a front for a male birthday card that would suit the shark pop-up on the inside.

Cheers
Craig

Hi, love your card. I have limited time to play around with my program because I have a 2 yr old. One day I will have more time, until then I stick to simple things.

Great job! I will save your download for one day!

How about on the front of the card:

It's your Birthday!
I hope Father Time Gets you....

and have a picture of Father time on the front and then you open the card

before I do!

Happy Birthday

Can you post the shark pop up svg with each piece separate. I am using them to make a large shark box for a childrens birthday party to toss beanbags into the mouth.

HI

Hope this is what you want.
I have put each piece in its own file and put them in the attached zip file.
The other option is I have put each piece on its own layer. You can turn the pieces off you don't want to cut in SCAL2.

Post some pictures up, I would love to see how it turn out :)
