I once did something in my SCAL pro 5 that automatically added the dimensions of the object I had highlighted. Meaning it posted the dimensions right next to the object on the mat. This would be an amazing option for when I am sending clients a proof.
Two questions.
1. Was this a magical dream?
2. If not, how can I do this in real life?
Thanks. Wade

No, SCAL5 has never had this ability so it must have been an awesome dream! lol
What I suggest is to export your file as SVG and then import into Inkscape (free program from Inkscape.org) and then go to Path->Path Effects click on the + icon and select Measure Segments. It will update the screen with measurements. Since SVG can "mess with" overall dimensions, make sure your projects W and H in Inkscape match that of SCAL's.

Damn. Oh well. Thanks for replying Sandy. Maybe someday. Thanks for the Inkscape hack.
