Exporting To Design Space

Post by mamagoose69 »

Hi. New to SCAL.
I used the heart from the Library to make a rhinestone template.
Exported with the Design Space checked and it comes into DS as microsoft edge file and imports the word demo, not the heart design.
What am I doing wrong??

First of all, make sure you've registered SCAL by going to Help>About Sure Cuts A Lot. You should see your name and registration number you purchased in the window that pops up.

Regarding exporting rhinestone designs for DS, you should remove the rhinestone special effect because it can't be imported by Design Space anyhow. DS strips out any raster effects from SVG files made in other software programs. Do this by selecting your design and going to Object>Break Apart. Then export the design.

Post back if you need more help. :)
