Creating Fonts

Post by mingle51 »

I have a project that I am working on cutting light panels with my Cricut expression 2. I need some guidance on fonts and changing or creating my own. I've a font that would work for one of the letters I am using "R" but size isn't right and if I size I can't change the with on just one side as it's one image. I've tried the break apart but that didn't work as it seem the letter is merged into one image.. does SCAL have tool that will let you cut the letter?

Without seeing the actual file and knowing which version of SCAL you own, I cannot answer the question. I can say that the current and some of the past versions of SCAL have node editing which allows you to have full control over a shape. But there could be other faster tools to use, depending on what you actual need to do to the letter.
