I started using my Silver Bullet and SCAL for heat transfer vinyl projects, at least three years ago. After growing weary of trying to get a steady heat from a household iron, I posted that I was finding more success with the type of press that is used for wax on skis. Several of you suggested that I just get a heat press, as it provides even heat, everything is done is just a few seconds, etc. I was loathe to make the purchase, because I have a bajillion hobbies, many involving large pieces of equipment. Well, today I crossed over to the wild side. My heat press, 15"X15" area, arrived today. I've died and gone to Heaven. It's as big a clunky as I feared, but well worth every inch. Thank you so much for your encouragement!
