Ceramic Tile vinyl Hotplate

Post by sstehman »

Love this panda file that was given to me. Not sure how vinyl holds up as a hotplate, so I put on a stand so it can be decorative too. Will give to a friend so will get her feedback on how it works for her if she uses as a hotlplate.

Vinyl isn't going to hold up under the heat of a pan. I have seen projects where they cut in reverse and they put the vinyl under glass or plastic of some cutting boards.

That's good to know. Meeting her after school today to give it to her, so it will just have to be decorative with the stand. Saw the cutting board projects and haven't tried them yet.

Sandy - that's so cute. I'm sure she's gonna love it. I didn't think that it would hold up to heat either.
