Well I looked at the program and decided I wasn't up to learning another program right now. Inkscape has a KNOT create function so I found a video for it and was able to create a nice chain. I'll keep working with it and see what else I can do with it.
Thanks again G for bringing up this topic as it opens up a whole bunch of new designs.

Yep, I have been looking into that also. There are several good tutorials for using Inkscape to be found searching. So many new options open up with the knotwork. I am sure it is nothing new to many, but for me another new avenue to incorporate with scal, cards, cutting or printing, or just trying to design them...FUN!

ditto on the fun AND with just a little work I can get a vector image without paying $14.00. Not a crack, just using screen capture and photo editor with inkscape. Wasn't the 14 bucks, just needed a challenge.
