New cards and techniques

Post by jrichards »

I have been slowly trying to catch up on cards for OWH. we have so many birthdays, anniversaries, etc in May that I am behind. I tried a new technique on the butterfly and dragonfly and I found the birds online and just like them.

The technique is really simple. Cover a die cut with metal tape (check hardware stores) then emboss it by running it through your machine. After that you can ink or use paints, let them get almost dry and then wipe some of it off! Simple and really cool.

Oh, it did not look like the foil...I have done this before...just cut the shapes with the cutter and embossed, because I don't have any die cuts. But it works. Thanks!
