Well broke down and purchased this font - I am no computer guru - do not know Inkscapes - just basic SCAL -- but this font or basically the SWASHes cannot be out shadowed or put into bold - have not tried it yet - but I think it is way to thin/narrow to cut out smoothly


With some playing around you can make it work -- the letters with the swash just takes some fiddling with.
