Did you create the file in Inkscape or did you export as svg from scal and then open svg in scal? or did you I'm a little confused.

Hi, been awhile I know but I got a new Mac mini with 10.12.6 (Sierra) and it has been a bit of a challenge to get ecal, and eclips to be friendly with the new computer...but we are getting there. Are u on Mac or Windows?

What cutter do u have? The newer vs do not work with older cutters although some folks create in new versions and are able to export to scal2 to cut.

You do not say which vs is scal you have but I save my ecal file first and then select the image on the screen and file/export then
pick the format you want from the dropdown menu; svg, jpg, png etc.
