Not sure what the problem is but I got it to trace in Inkscape. Just the outline not the inner divides if this will work for you. I am attaching the svg file as I don't have scal2 anymore and I am on a Mac.

What vs of scal/ecal r u using and on what OS Mac or Win?

Yes a new blade holder..if it does not work I think u can return it, but check with Sizzix first .

Congrats! Would you share how you got it to work for others who have the same issue. Include vs of scal and Mac OS version please?

My guess is that scal2 was obsoleted before your mac upgrade. You will need, as I did, to upgrade to a new cutter and the appropriate vs of scal. I got an Eclips and am very happy with it.

If u do a google search for fish hooks svg there are a lot of them available. Same with the bass. If you have problem I get some and send you a link.

Are u using the svg icon or file import?

If you double click the file on your computer does the svg open and if so into what program?
