I don't know about for download, but there is a user manual included under the help menu. You can get the trial version and play with it for 15 days. If you had a design you wanted already, you can make your own embossing folder with chipboard/fiberboard, SCAL and a rolling pin. There are some interesting blog posts and videos out there on the subject. A search using your favorite search engine or youtube would bring up the results.
