I think I read that you choose MTC but just in case you haven't made a decision.... Download the trial versions of both software programs and see which one you like better. MTC can trace PDFs which is cool. But SCAL still wins for me because of it's superior font interface and a couple other issues....

mamajo- is that for the oracal? I don't see that deal from H&H.

I have used and had great service from expressions vinyl. If I am not ordering a roll I start there.

When I said you need to do each oval separately - I mean click on each oval and unclick the weld before you cut it.

It didn't cut the inside pieces because you have the weld turned on (weld tells it not to cut overlapping parts (this works great when you want to put letter on top of each other etc.)) You can check to see what isn't going to cut by hitting the icon to the right of the scissors. The newest version has been freezing up on me also. It usually happens after I have been working on something for a long time.

Try decreasing the shadow value (mine defaults to 1 when I first turn it on) - if I turn it down to .5 or 0 (there is still a shadow) I usually get the letters all back. With cursive letters sometimes I can't get them all back unless I go way up like 3 etc...
