Re: Roland Blades - questions
Does anyone know which specific Roland blades are purchased. I just looked in the sign catalog I have and they list 3 different Roland 60's and 4 different 45's. Just wondering specifically which ones.

Re: ack...so lost!
So do you now cut everything with the Roland blades in the deep housing? Or did you get them to work in the other. I need to replace blades soon (think mine came with a bad one) and would rather order lots than 2@9.99 if they will need replacing this often. I do alot of vinyl cutting so am wondering...

Re: How to use Trace Image on SCAL2
Needed to take a minute to fix SCAL2. I did not have the Advanced Workspace open. Ok, now I can open the layers on SCAL2 (thank you) but still cannot on Inkscape. The trace bitmap produces no image and that would probably be the better place to work on it because it might need some lines merged. SCA...

Re: How to use Trace Image on SCAL2
Can you help with the break apart info on Scal2? I got my image into SCAL (couldn't seperate it in Inkscape for some reason) and SCAL2 did outline it, but when I clicked the break apart, I didn't notice any difference in being able to move or seperate layers. I admit to being a newbie trying out thi...

Re: Vinyl cutting tips n tricks - basics
Can anyone tell me the ratio of thicknesses that the cricut will cut in heat transfer vinyl (or regular vinyl)? I ordered some yesterday and it cuts 3 of the pieces like a dream, but the glitter piece is heavier and either using the kiss cut settings (with medium pressure, 6 on blade) it doesn't cut...

Re: Marcelle font question
Thank you so much Grammy, that did get it to open in SCAL. And I so appreciate everyone's help. Now I can import it into SCAL but it still has a pretty ragged edge from all the distressed look. So I tried shadow in SCAL and got it down to this, but is there a better way in Inkscape to smooth out the...

Re: Marcelle font question
Thanks for the info. I'm very new to this. I tried your suggestion but when I try to import it into Scal,I get an error message in SCAL that says the SVG object, font or file contains embedded images or files and must be outlined first. Any further suggestions? This is the same error message I was g...
