Craft Edge

I just got a new netbook and want to download SCAL 2 to it. I bought it in Jan. and used one download. Can I still download it again to my new computer? If so, how do I go about doing this? I see that there is now a SCAL 3. From the little I have read on the forum I'm assuming SCAL 2 is outdated????...

I just tried to adjust the number on the side. Every time I increased the number the shadow would have a different letter that would not work. Strange. I'm going to try a different font today to see if that makes a difference. I wouldn't think it should.

I made a title "Welcome" and welded the letters together. It cuts out great except when I try to make a shadow for it. For some reason the "l" gets messed up and all of it doesn't show or cut when I try to make the shadow? Any suggestions? It's happened before but I didn't really...

I have not updated my firmware lately. I don't think that is the problem because I tried to used my program and my laptop on a friends cricut who also has SCAL and it said the same thing, Cricut cannot be found, that's why I think it must be the program.

I followed the directions from the craft edge site to see if the driver was installed. It says driver installed. I wonder if I should uninstall the driver and then reinstall it again. What do you think about that?

I am hoping too! Does anyone know what would happed if I used the Restore Default setting in "Preferences"? Would I lose anything? I'm afraid to try it for fear I would be messing something else up.

I changed the version to 2.1. It didn't work. It froze on the "checking mat" screen. Strange thing happened though. After that when I changed it back and then tried to cut on my Personal it cut. But..........still not on the Expression. Then when I turned off my computer and on again neith...
