Using Dollar Tree contact paper for T-shirt transfer tape?

I am doing my first T-shirt iron-on, and need to use some sort of transfer tape. I've read several pages where people describing using clear contact paper from Dollar Tree. However, all of the ones I have seen, were just using adhesive vinyl. I want to use this for an iron-on. I am concerned that th...

Re: Cutting from CAD drawing is constant small cuts

I came up with what may be a reasonable solution. Rather than bring the SVG file from my CAD drawing into SCAL, I instead created a PNG format bitmat image. Then, using the trace feature in SCAL, I traced the image, to create the path. Though, I do still seem to be having it do a fair amount of litt...

Re: Is the user manual under the Help menu the only one?

It is disappointing that Craft Edge didn't create a more thorough user manual. There isn't even an Index, and you cannot search the manual. But, I guess those shortcomings is what allows you to sell your own work. Thanks for offering the print version for free.

Is the user manual under the Help menu the only one?

I come from a background of doing Computer Aided Drafting. So, the programs I use are fairly complex, and so have a fairly large manual to document the program. And, while a very large manual can be intimidating, if a lot of information is omitted, then that can be frustrating unto itself. Is the ma...

Cutting from CAD drawing is constant small cuts

I have a SVG file, that I imported in to my CAD drawing program, because I am most familiar with using that program. I set my program to draw ellipses as multi-segment lines (i.e. Polylines that are a series of arcs) so that I can later export the drawing to a SVG file. But, when I cut the file, tho...

Re: Free CAD editor with SVG Output!

Note that Draftsite is no longer free. However there are several other comparable programs. Note that if you can save a DXF file, Inkscape can import it. The DWG file format is mostly important for people who do drafting. nanoCAD https://nanocad.com It saves its files in the native DWG file format. ...

Re: Where to get USB drivers for Win10 and Expression

Still not working. First, I was a little confused about which "setup executable" to use, since the phrase occurs 4 times on the table. Then, it became apparent that I should find the one where the left column referred to windows. (i.e. the first row of the table) I seem to have updated the...

Re: SCAL4 or SCAL5 with legacy Cricut machines

Following the video, I can only get to the point where I should install the drivers for the Expression machine using Cricut Design Space. It directs me to a drivers sub directory in the Roaming/Appdata/Cricut directory. However, that drivers directory did not exist. So, I went to Cricut's site, and ...

Where to get USB drivers for Win10 and Expression

First, I'll introduce myself briefly. I often volunteer for a local theater group, to make props and scenery. When I saw an Expression for sale in a local thrift store, I figured this would be a great tool to make stencils, and even fancy foil ornamentation to apply to props. But, I soon discovered ...
