Track and field silhouettes?
I am looking for a track and field silhouette for a friend. I think she wanted high jump, but I am not sure. Anyone have a collection of track and field SVG's, or know where some can be found?

Anyone making versions of the Sizzix pop up dies?
I did see the thread about pop up cards, but the Sizzix dies have so many different designs, not all cards. They were very 3D. I'd make them myself but I don't have a head for how to construct them. I looked at the dies in my scrapbook store, but I just couldn't picture how they would work.

Re: Do you Facebook?
I love Facebook too. I just created a group for SCAL fans. :o) I like FB because not only can I connect to old friends, but I can look at the live feed and get instant updates about what's going on in their lives. You can send private messages (similar to email), do live chat, leave someone a public...

When did you download the trial version of SCAL? Perhaps you don't have the newest version?

Re: .SVG files not opening with SCAL
.scut are Sure Cuts A Lot files that were created in SCAL.
.svg files are Scalable Vector Graphics.
To use SVG files in SCAL, you need to open up SCAL and then IMPORT not OPEN them.
Does that help at all?

Re: Half Circle
If you use the basic shapes in SCAL and size the circle so that it goes off the mat, whatever is off the mat won't cut. So you could size your circle so that the halfway line (diameter) of the circle is sitting on the cutting line. That will cut a giant semi-circle for you.

Re: Help Please... size of SVG file in SCAL
Annointed Hands alluded to this in her post, but just to make it clear: the SVG will import at whatever size your font "default size" is set to. You can then size it larger or smaller by either using the shape properties window (make sure to click on Keep Proportions first) or by clicking ...

Could you maybe post an image of what you're seeing so that maybe we can get an idea?
