New laptop will my coupon code work to put SCAL2 on it?

Purchased SCAL2 back in July and I was give a coupon code to put in on my computer. I have SCAL1 also. I may want that on my laptop also. Do I have to contact Todd to put these on my new laptop? or will it work to just download it using my coupon code? Thanks for any help..
