Unfotunately, no. I keep forgetting to save the file as an svg rather than a scut. I'm trying to remember for future files. I don't know how to convert a file from a scut to a svg format in SCAL. Does anybody else know if you can do this?

SCAL can only save as Scut files. Inkscape saves as svg's as well as some others with exceptions it cannot save as SCUT and Cut.

If you trace the image in SCAL 2 and then save it before finalizing the project, it can be saved as a SVG. If you create a new project directly in SCAL, it is only savable as a scut file, as far as I know.

Wow! I only have SCAL 1 but knowing you can save as SVG in SCAL 2 is wonderful news. I have been toying with upgrading but haven't yet.
