Hi All, I have a 2 year old greatdaughter who had to have a kidney remove because of a 5pound
tumor and am trying to fine something special to do for her, any ideas will be so thankful.
She is still recoverying but I have great hopes for her.

How about making her a little special cutout doll??? and some outfits for it??? You can take a photo of her and cut out the face and mount that to the cutout.. Then maybe have a doctor or nurse cutout as well... You can always laminate them so they last... She's two but shes still old enough for stuff like that..

Glad to hear she's doing better. Sending up prayers for a full & quick recovery. How about a personalized wordbook? Maybe one with a theme with cute pics & cutouts. I think the cut-out doll idea is really good. Maybe you can incorporate that idea into a wordbook. HTH

Great idea pastda3.. She could probably even put velcro on the back of the dolls and front and on the back of the outfits .. and mount velcro in the book also and use it as a storage book..with a little story to go along with each day in the hospital..

I am at a loss for ideas but I had to tell you that she will be in my prayers.

Shes in my prayers too. I have a grandaughters too and I cannot imagine the sleepless nights you and your family have had. God bless
