I am surprised it is too big to post to the forum. That suggests to me that there is something weird happening with the file.
I would open the file in inkscape and copy and paste only the objects you want to cut to another file and see if that is any better.
If not hopefully the svg you have created can be posted here for us to have a look at.
If that fails I could have a look at the file via email. I'll send you my address via a PM
Cheers
Craig

Hi Kelley
I have had a quick look at your file.
The file is made up of thousands of indiviual lines. Many of the lines I would consider too fine to cut.
One of the reasons I think it would not load into SCAL2 I suspect was that there was a large square with a gradient fill of yellow. Then there is a large amount of multiple groups.
It is a very nice design. I am sure you could make your design with individual elements found on this forum.
If you do a search for Dandelion you will find some files to download.
This is not to say you could not use your file but you will need to do alot of work in Inkscape to get it ready to cut.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Craig

Hi Kelley
Sorry I have not contacted you since. I am having internet problems at home. Internet only up for an hour a day at the moment and not very stable. I have not been able to download your file at home.
I downloaded While I was at work and made my comments in the post above.
The file will require alot of work to make it cuttable. There are a lot of individual fine lines that will need to be welded together. The detail on the Dandelions are too fine and I suspect they will not cut out too well.
I would suggest do a search in this forum for Danelion and uses some of the cut files you find to compose a similar image.
Sorry I can't help more. Not having a stable internet is so frustrating.
Cheers
Craig

If you could post a link to an image, I am sure someone will help you out.
Erryl has a couple of dandelions on her blog.

I have a dandelion fluff on mine.

Hi Heather
Here is a link I found that matches the file Kelley emailed me.
http://dragonartz.wordpress.com/2009/03 ... on-vector/
It would be good if someone else could help Kelley out or offer advice. My internet is playing up.
The dandelion from freesvg link matches this design well.
I have knocked these files up quickly but they are not exactly like the sample. I am not sure how well they will cut. Dandelions have such fine detail!

I Finally got the file to download.
Here is my effort to make a cut file from it.
There was a lot of detail and all lines were individual meaning they need to be welded together.
Still not sure how it will cut. Some of the lines might be still too thin.
Hope this helps
