Chipboard cutting....

Hi, I recently bought SCAL and I LOVE it so far! I was getting a little frustrated yesterday when I was trying to cut a maple leaf out of some chipboard. I am using the deep housing blade and I have had several successful cuts with this particular blade and the same chipboard thickness (I bought a whole stack at one time!) So I do not know what else the problem could be. It's like the blade gets stuck and then when it does, the rest of the cut is completely screwed up....

I've changed the speed - from fast to slow and I get the same result.

Anyone have anything else that maybe I am missing? I really need to get this maple leaf to cut for a page layout class I am teaching soon (I need at least 20 cuts). :?

Thanks!

could you possibly bring it up a little, and then just select multiple cut?
Just an idea

By bringing it up, do you mean to change the dial on the blade housing? Sorry if that is a dumb question! Right now I have it on 6....

Thanks.

Try removing the housing and the blade make sure there is no guck from the mat on the blade then blow in the hole where the housing goes. Sometimes paper stuff gets in their and it makes it cut funny.

Yeah, that's what I meant... try lifting the pressure, and the dial on the blade housing... It could work?
