how to reset factory settings

Hello can anyone help me. i have messed up the settings in scal 5 to the point that when you go to trace a image nothing
comes out proper. Can i reset it back to factory settings for the trace feature ? Thanks

There isn't a single click for a reset. But here are some things you can do in order to get SCAL back to defaults:
1. In the Trace Image window, click on Restore Settings
2. Under Edit>Preferences>Edit tab click on Restore Defaults.
3. Go to the following link and download/install the latest version. Do NOT rely on Help>Check for Updates. Do NOT rely on what the web site shows for Version History. JUST download and install whichever version you currently own. The latest is 5.050.
HOWEVER, be sure you have any calibrations written down because updating to the latest version will wipe out most calibrations.
