I have started a forum, for people that have Cricuts, use illustrator, inkscape, and SCAL. We have just started it and are real small, but if you would like to check it out and join you are more than welcome. I don't scrapbook, (and I have nothing against them), :D I like to do vinyl, boxes, bags, flowers, and I am learning more about doing 3d crafts.

The site is

papyrusjungle.forum.com

We also love lots of input.

Thanks for reading :D

I joined!

You can't have too many options for exploring SCAl and Inkscape in my opinion.

check it out!

This is probably a dumb question but I use Corel Draw to create and edit SVG's there. Is Illustrator similar to Corel Draw?

I don't know the answer to that one. But I know the newest version of Inkscape .47 that is still in pre-release edition does accept a lot of versions of Corel draw. If you go to my forum I have written some stuff up on Corel and their is also a link to I believe it is Cuttingtime.blogspot.com that has a tutorial on the new features of ink .47. I just asked my husband the technical person he says illustrator is similar and not to Corel draw. He hasn't used it in years, he says he will find out. Let me know and if you want to pm your email address and I can send you more information.
