Cannot find file transferred to SCAL5 from Illustrator

I successfully added "Send to SCAL5" to scripts in Illustrator and when I select it, it seems to be doing something. However, when I open SCAL5, it's not there and I don't know where to find it. Any suggestions?

I'm fairly certain SCAL5 needs to be open when you send your design from Illustrator to SCAL5. I don't personally use these kinds of plugins but I know that's the case with some programs.

For me, clicking the "Send to SCAL4" script in Illustrator automatically opens SCAL4 and places the vector cut lines onto the board.
I am running Illustrator CC 2019 and SCAL4Pro, MacOS 10.14.16 (Mohave)
I want to update to Big Sur, but I'd need to purchase SCAL5Pro update for the 64bit compatibility. It will be a problem for me if the "Send to SCAL5" script doesn't work properly.
Has anyone else have any success with this script?
