Buying vinyl locally

I embroider for a living, but just added vinyl monograms and am having a blast with the change of pace. I have also discovered the upside of vinyl is that if you mess up you just peel it off and put another one on...if I mess up embroidering it is hours of picking out threads. Not fun.
Anyway, I am so excited...I never thought to look for a local resource for Oracal vinyl until I read someone mention it in another post on here...I looked up on the Oracal site and I have a place 10 minutes away that is a distributer. Yipee! I went over this morning and was able to see colors in person, which beats the heck out of trying to figure out what the real color is going to be from a computer color graphic. I was able to buy some of the colors that I won't be using large rolls of by the foot instead of in 15 yard rolls (albeit a little more expensive this way, but way cheaper than paying shipping). I also got a color chart and was able to pick up some very inexpensive blanks to use as signage.
This week-end is my first big foray into selling single letter monograms at a outdoor week-end market on polypropelene beach bags. I hope that the heat does not keep customers from shopping!
