Hi

Ik have some images, and I can't get a smooth line in inkscape. when I put it in scal, I get double lines or lines who are broken.
I have tried a few things but I can't get it done.

Can someone help me with it?

Hello:
Your images have shadows and not clear crisp lines. This will cause problems in the finished product. You might try redrawing them and then converting them in inkscape.

Looks like a job for the paint bucket tool! Follow the mini-tutorial attached PLUS set the fill gaps pull down setting to at least small. It's to the right of the grow/shrink setting.

Hey kay,

Thanx for some picture's it worked :D
But for some it didn't.
For example,I have this house and it's a jpeg.
I put it in inkscape and I make a bitmap layer.
After that the line's are not smoot and they have some breaks. I cant cut it nice, the lines are not smooth, then I better can take the cissors.
The bucket wil not work on the bitmap.

Sorry for my english I'm dutch and don't know al the terms.

I put an example

This is after the correction with the bitmap.

A good solution for that image would be the bezier tool. It is quick to use and will give you smooth lines with no extra nodes. See this basic tut for help with the bezier tool. http://dan99.blogspot.com/2008/11/video ... tools.html
