please help....how to get the font into scal??

OK So I got my program, now once I download some fonts into my computer....how do they get into the scal library so that I can start using the ones I download??? I hope you can help and I make sense :lol:

If you don't want to install the fonts try double clicking the font folder, minimizing the window and then check your SCAL and see if it shows up.

I already downloaded a couple though into "MY COMPUTER" into a separate folder. So a couple are downloaded, but are not showing up in scal.....

Downloaded doesn't mean installed. Try what I suggested in my previous post.

Sweet!!! :D Thank you!! This is one more reason I love this site!! So helpful! One for question though, does the scal program need to be not open at the time, and does it remain in there or do I have to do that every time that I want it in there?? Thanks for responding SOOO fast!! :P

To use your fonts this way without installing them, you will need to do this each time. If you install your fonts, they will just show up in SCAL. People here download so many fonts, that they don't always want to install them, so they use this method.

OK....that makes sense, if I do have a favorite that I want to install...how do I go about doing that??

SCAL has a refresh font button in the Library window. Use that if you open a font after you open SCAL. Other programs that don't have the refresh font button must be opened AFTER the font.
