I searched the topics, but couldn't find an answer to my question.

I have several fonts that I have downloaded and installed into my Windows Font Folder, but they do not show up in SCAL. I am able to use them in Microsoft Word, Print Shop, etc. I did page all the way to the bottom of my list, as suggested on another post, but they are not there.

Any ideas??

See if there is an option in your scal preferences to do a full font scan (it is in some versions, not others) and if so, check that, then refresh the font list (the button that looks like a round arrow on the Library window. Also see if it could be a variation on the name. If you found it in Word, it would be that same name. If none of that helps then either you have too many fonts installed or you have a font with a minor problem that SCAL can't resolve.
