Tag dingbats??

Does anyone know of a free dingbat with scrapbooking tags? Could be rounded, pointed, or whatever on top -- I'm not picky! I have gotten lost in the dingbat sites (but found other cool stuff on the way!).

I'm sure this is super simple to create with Inkscape, but my one lame attempt left me near tears.

I don't know of a dingbat with tags but if you want some I can whip you up some quickly.

What kind would you like? Would you want to weld inside them using Inkscape?

Wow - thanks for the offer!!

I'm a simple girl with simple needs :D . A plain ole tag would be fine for me. I'm skeered (hahaha) of Inkscape. But a tag that's actually a frame would be cool.

Thanks again!!

Using the tutorial posted by susbi ( http://www.surecutsalot.com/tutorials/frames.pdf), you use the arrows to increase the height of the frame. You can also move the original square to any place in the second (duplicated) square.

The tricky part if shaping the top of the second (dupe) square (actual tag) which will require you to manipulate the nodes (little squares, as someone else called them). I have made round one and one with an inverted V top. By manipulating the nodes, you can make any shape you want.

Then you do a Select All (CTRL +A) and then the Path>Exclusion. Using that technique, you can weld an object inside the smaller square opening.

Posted some tags in the Design/SVG section. Link is http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=565.

You should open them in Inkscape and save them separately for better cutting results.

I'm thinking that you could also weld some of the shapes together directly in SCAL to get what you need.
