cutting 12 x 12 on expression

Very new to using SCAL. Just got Cricut Expression. So SCAL only shows 6 x 12 mat. Can something be cut 12 x 12 since that is what Expression can cut?

Look under the menus for an option to change the mat view. You will see 12 x 12 and 12 x 24. You are going to love your E!
