Craft Edge

I have recently upgraded from SCAL4 to SCAL5,installed it on my Macbook on purchase but haven't had time till now to explore it. So today I arm myself with coffee and a project to do and have found on opening SCAL5 that the screen which should be displaying the mat is blank. Gone, completely empty, nothing but white. I can't open my previous projects from SCAL4, and cannot find any troubleshooting info on how to make the mat reappear. Tried quitting and restarting....nothing. Swore at it a bit..still nothing.

Has anyone any advice on what to do to make the mat reappear?

I would start by reinstalling SCAL5. Download the latest update from here:

Thanks for coming back so quickly. I guess a reinstall might be the best way to go, especially as I have no idea what I did to cause the prob. Will sort out the email from Craft Edge with my serial no etc and download it again give it a go in the morning.
