I purchased SCAL 5 thinking it would help me import svg files into Cricut Design Space. However, I am still getting the message that the files are an unsupported file type. Can someone please enlighten me about usage with Design Studio. I did check the little box that says "Design Space" compatible.

Most likely, you are trying to open a SCUT file instead of an SVG file into Design Space. This is a common mistake by new Cricut owners who have bought SCAL. So, when you have a design in SCAL that you want to import into Design Space, go to File>Export and name the file. In the second window after that, mark the Design Space option. Then that is the file you will want to import into Design Space.

Actually, I was careful to load the image as an svg. I guess I'll have to call Cricut support.
