Has anybody tried to create any word blooms using SCAL? Or, do you know where there are some for download? Since I have the Expression now, I'd love to be able to cut some with chipboard.

What is a word bloom?

It's another word for a word book. Here's a link to a website that carries them.

I've just watched a tutorial with them being done on the CDS software so was wondering if they could be done with SCAL. I've just started using SCAL.

I've been playing with it on my trial version, but, I can't seem to get it to work. Not sure if some features are disabled in the trial version but, I can't get the backgrounds to show.

I also just figured out how to do the F for friends! That and 100 more years and I'll have lots more words! LOL!!

Ok..so much for my F. It cut fine while on the screen. I saved it and now when I open it up, I have an n and my F. I used the square that is in Wingdings for the beginning and stretched it and welded the F to it. Anybody have any ideas why?

none with scal, I did do one with my son's name using the design studio, but I doubt you would want the file since his name is brad, unless you have a brad.
