More flourishes
Here are some flourishes that I made from Photoshop brushes. They were linkware, so can't be used for commercial purposes.
http://www.blinding-light.com and must not be used for commercial purposes. If posted they are supposed to have the web link, which I have included.

Re: More flourishes
i have some scanned logos etc.. how do i save them to svg and open them to use... i have saved all these svg to a folder and now want to use them....thanks ...just a beginner
Re: More flourishes
You import SVG files into SCAL. Your scanned files will need to be converted to vectors and then saved as SVG. Heather is great for steering towards the correct topics with the tutorials etc. I'm sure she will be here to help soon.

Re: More flourishes
The best way depends on the colors and complexity of the logo. If you can find one of them online, post a link to it and we can help you better.beecee wrote:i have some scanned logos etc.. how do i save them to svg and open them to use...
There is a good basic tut here. http://scrappydew.com/tutorials/files/M ... orial.html
Dan99 has a tut that works well with colored images. http://dan99.blogspot.com/2009/01/video ... o-svg.html
I'm sure there are others out there as well. Firstcut has a master list. http://cleversomeday.wordpress.com/2009 ... -new-home/
Also, sometimes you can find logos as svg online. You might try a search.
