I upgraded to SCAL 5 from v 2. I didn't even think to see if Cricut Expression even support v 5. Can someone tell me or did I just make a mistake?

Provo Craft, the company which makes the Cricuts, sued SCAL and two other companies about 9 or so years ago because they did not allow 3rd party companies to provide software that would cut to their Cricut machines. However, as long as you have kept SCAL2 installed, you can design in SCAL5 and then, using File>Send To>Sure Cuts A Lot 2, you can send your design to SCAL2 for cutting.
