I just upgrade to scal v5 and I am trying to make a stencil on a beautiful design with words to put on a tray. I can't seems to find a tutorial on how to do stencil a design with words. However, if this is a one time project, then I would forgo stenciling and cut the design from vinyl or contact shelf liner. That way you can transfer the vinyl to the tray, do the painting, and then remove the vinyl and not have to stencil the letters because the transfer tape will keep the interior shapes from being lost. Usually, stenciling is done when someone is cutting a stencil from, say, Mylar to be used over and over.
