I have never noticed a way to do this in SCAL, yet I'm still using SCAL2 so maybe there is a way to do it in the newer versions. I did see that I can do it in Illustrator.
I would expect some waste with this anyway, I'd guess it. I'd probably measure it and as though it were a rectangle which should allow enough for the curves considering it's smaller at the top than the bottom.
I forgot to mention that the smaller tabs will go around the intricate curves better. Also I searched chocolate bunny outline and there are many nice shapes available online. Best of luck to you, hoping you post a pic of your finished box.
