i am trying to make a 2 ended arrow to connect two circles such as in a flow chart but do not want them to cut separately. I made one but it cuts all three shapes (2 arrows and a line) separately. does weld fix that problem?

Weld will work, but I would use path/Union after selecting all 3 objects. Ensure that they slightly overlap before you Union them together, let us know how you do.
