I just received my Eclips2 this week and I am so excited to start playing with it.

I have a Cricut Expression that I was using. I had found some good resources online for blade/speed and pressure settings for different materials. Is anybody aware if there is something similar for the Eclips2? A "cheat sheet" of sorts until I can fine tune what works best for me would be nice for getting started. I am also interested in good resources for how to use the full version of the ecal2 software. I am pretty good at making my way through technology programs, but again, tips and tricks would be nice.
Thanks!
Tammy

Tammy, ecal2 auto sets pressure and speed etc based on the media you choose. I find it pretty accurate. Try some cuts on card stock (light, med, heavy) and contac paper to see how your particular machine conforms.
I have not seen any in depth videos on how to for either scal4 or eclips2. Scrappydew did a hangout wth a guest who walked through some of the features. If you go to scrappydew.com you can find the link to the hangout. I am pretty sure the link is on the forum here too.
See this post for starters.

A search on this forum has tips and tricks too.
Have fun exploring.

Like Susan said, I pretty much just set my blade depth and then select the material I'm cutting from the print dialog. Start with a blade setting of 3 and then adjust it lower or higher to get good consistent cuts without digging into your mat more than necessary.
