Copyright or Trademarks

Hi,
I have a blog of my own, and I have been getting requests for converting pictures into SVGs for them. I'm getting overwhelmed in my email box. I was wondering if I could just post them on my blog for anyone to grab.

Problem: I'm worried about copyright or trademark infringement. I tried reading more about it, but I just need layman's terms or simply explain to me as if I was a 5 year old.

I'm simply converting coloring pages or images into workable SVGs, also making sure it's for personal use ONLY. Am I in any violation here? What about logos like Seahawks, Colts, Etc?

I know a lot of people wouldn't even touch this topic, but if anyone knows about those "laws," please please please do explain what I can do/ cannot do.

MILLION THANKS!

Here is a link to a simple explanation of copyright.

A trademark can be a name, word, phrase, symbol, logo, design, or picture. It can only be used on things made by the business that owns the trademark. Most logos you mentioned would have trademark protection.

Although we want to be helpful to others in converting files for them, I would use care in posting your converted files that fall into these areas on your blog. Even if you mark them as "for personal use only", you are already involved in the distribution and manipulation of them. So it is best if others take the same time to learn to make svg's as you did and keep yourself safe from infringement.
