Open the Add or Remove Programs utility in Windows. 2. In the list of installed programs, find the antivirus program and select it by clicking it once with the left mouse button. To the right of the program name, click the Change/Remove or Uninstall button to initiate the uninstall process.

Antivirus removing SCAL

Post by BarryBoaft »

I have successfully updated the virus definitions for f-prot and McAfee antivirus , but i have the following problem: when I launch the antivirus I cannot access my harddrives , i can only access drives A,B,Q,T.
Please, can you tell me how can I gain access to my harddrives , which are NTFS ?
Thank you.

This is a forum for support of a program call Sure Cuts A Lot. I suggest you search for a forum related to your antivirus software. Good luck!

I use 2 virus protection for work and home... I have an official Windows 10 and its standard antivirus copes well with most threats. It has a drawback in that it can pass small viruses, for their cleaning once a week I use the free version Malwarebytes. It is not advertising, and recommendations, for 3 years was not with such protection any infection, loss of speed or loss of files.

Here are some instructions if you are using Norton to tell it to not flag it as a virus/threat.

1. Open your Norton product
2. On the main window click Tasks and there on the Security History option
3. On the opened window click on the drop down menu and select Quarantine
4. On the list find the file you want to restore
5. Click on More Details (bottom, right side)
6. On the new window click on Options (bottom)
7. Click on Restore file
8. Check the "do not detect it any more option" during the restore
9. Close windows
Thank you for helping

If you are careful, Windows Defender will protect you fairly. :D
