Polling the Cutter?

How can you poll the cutter so you have the exact dimensions of the vinyl? This was a standard feature on previous software I've used but I can't seam to figure it out on SCAL 3 PRO.
Hi, I am not sure what you are looking for exactly, but if you want to run the laser light over your mat with the vinyl to ensure that your vinyl piece is in the correct position on the mat you would use
"laser cut preview" in the cut menu. This will use your "cut" lines and run over the vinly as you watch to see that all is ok.,
