Thing 1 & 2

Was wondering if anyone could help me with this file. I want it in 4 separate colors (lt. blue, red, white and black). I am having a hard time splitting them because some of the hair is not connected. I am not good at using nodes, or trying to connect them so I can get this separate. Any help is greatly appreciated. Making for a friend that wants Geek 1 & 2.
