Hello there... Now do I have to draw a path always to get my font to curve??? Or is there a way to just hit a button to give the word a nice little bend or arch to it???

Good Morning and welcome to the forum.

You want to use a feature called text on path. Here is a video that will show you how. It was done for SCAL2 but it all works the same. Kay uses a circle but for a little bend I'd use an oval. You can also search this forum for more ideas.
