How do I open an Adobe Illustrator file in SCAL3 PRO? I do not have AI on my computer but the two graphic designers I use have AI.
Just go to File -> Import.
One thing that I notice when I import AI files, is that SCALP sees the Illustrator Artboard as an object. I have Illustrator CS5, so not sure if this occurs with other versions of Illustrator. If it's there, just go to the Layers panel in SCALP and delete it.
